  1. if only assumption I is implicit.
  2. if only assumption II is implicit.
  3. if either I or II is implicit.
  4. if neither I nor II is implicit.
  5. if both I and II are implicit.

Statement:
We grew up in joint families, which meant less space for the individual.
Assumptions:
I. Big houses were unknown in the past.
II. One has to make much adjustment in a joint family.

a) if only assumption I is implicit.

b) if only assumption II is implicit.

Answer: (b)

Here “less space” does not imply physical space so much. Instead, it implies less freedom.

The step taken by the airlines must have been aimed at to earn more revenue. The desired result can’t be obtained without assuming I.

Hence, I is implicit. II may or may not be an assumption.

Both may be conclusions, but not assumptions.

It is clear that the city bus have to provide bus services according to the needs of the local person and not as per their own convenience.

So, again the statements says of an appeal of a resident of Ram Nagar. And nothing can be said about the company’s response to appeals of the residents of the colony.

So, II is also not implicit
